Glitter is one of those things that you have to be careful of whenever you are dealing with it and makeup, however one of the hottest trends in makeup for springtime includes glitter. Glittery makeup can be a sparkly way to do yourself up for a special occasion, such as New Year’s Eve, or even just a night of dancing with friends. You don’t want to overdo glittery makeup though, so it’s important to learn how you can do glitter makeup that will give you a little pop, without overwhelming your look.
For eyes
1-Apply a nude shadow with a little glitter, just below your eyebrow on the brow bone to open up your eyes, this works especially well if you have small-set eyes, and it is a subtle look to try.
2-Use black glittery eye shadow as eyeliner around your eyes. Take an angled brush and quickly run it underneath running water. Squeeze water from bristles to make brush more defined at the edge and dip brush in shadow, then line around the eyes. For a more smoky glitter effect, don’t wet the brush and line eyes.
3-Use a glitter cream shadow on your eye lids to give them some pop. You can do a color that matches your outfit, or stick with a nude that will show off glitter and nothing else. Avoid using dark colors on eyelids. Instead use dark colors on creases, and stick to a light glittery shade for lids.
