It’s “the beginning of something magical,” Taylor Swift teases in the debut ad for her first signature perfume “Wonderstruck”. Apparently, she’s right, as the campaign says much itself. Shot in a beautiful garden with chandeliers in backdrop, the advertisement for Taylor Swift’s Wonderstruck fragrance is certainly magical!
Grammy award-winning 21-year-old singer Taylor Swift shared the new magical Wonderstruck ad campaign on her Facebook page. In the ad, Taylor looks like a real princess, wearing that gorgeous strapless blush pink gown with jeweled waist band and ethereal ruffles, red luscious lips and her sunny curls loosely cascading down. No wonder, a real wonderstruck!
Due out in October, Wonderstruck was inspired by one of Taylor’s songs, “Enchanted”, which says “I’m wonderstruck blushing all the way home”. “I wrote the lyric, ‘I’m wonderstruck, blushing all the way home’ … about the first time you meet someone,” she explained in a release. “A fragrance can help shape someone’s first impression and memory of you. It’s exciting to think that Wonderstruck will play a role in creating some of those memories.”
Developed by perfumer Olivier Gillotin, Wonderstruck is composed of fruity-floral notes of freesia, green tea, apple blossom, raspberry, dewberry, Hawaiian blanket, hibiscus, honeysuckle, vanilla, musk, peach and sandalwood. “It was fascinating to learn that you can layer so many different scents to create a beautiful end result,” Swift told WWD about the creation process. “Coming up with ideas for this fragrance and the packaging and message of it reminded me of what it’s like to plan an album launch. It goes out into the world and becomes a part of people’s daily lives.”
Wonderstruck is bottled in a purple round bottle with gold embellishments and charms. So if you want to leave a magical impression over someone you meet for the first time, get ready to obtain a bottle of Wonderstruck in October.
