Louis Vuitton SS 2012 Collection

Dainty, prestine, elegant aren’t the words you would think after designerMarc Jacob’s Louis Vuitton’s fetish-inspired collection last season.
However, those words are exactly what I would use to describe LV’s S/S 2012 collection, which showcased feminine, delicate pieces in light hues of pink, blue, yellow, green, turquoise, and cream.

Floral pattern was seen in many pieces as well as little feathers. inThe show began with a spinning carousel and models slid off the carousel’s horses and walked around it in a circle. The collection, filled with tailored skirts, jackets, and dresses, focused on structure and fit to create the perfect hour-glass shape.
Aymeline Vadlade, Sigrid Agren, Daria Strokous, Anja Rubik, Kasia Struss, Vlada Rosylakova, Frida Gustavvson, Daphne Groeneveld, Jessica Stam, and many others including popular newcomers Josephine Shriver and Jasmine Tookes walked the show. Supermodel Kate Moss, like the prior season, closed the show. -Taylor
